Durable Potholders

 

I needed a set of new, durable pot holders since my old ones are showing signs of heavy use. Why not use repurposed jeans? Using the best parts from three different jeans, and then freshening the project up a bit with fitting selvedges. 

There's one layer of cotton batting plus a layer of Insul-Bright in the quilting sandwich. Straight line quilting with Aurifil 50wt in variegated thread #4669. Backing is also jean fabric. The binding is a colorful one.
