Flowers in the Meadow

This charity quilt is the result of a deep-dive into my stash searching for florals.

I used my AccuQuilt Go to cut the 180 4.5" squares from all the 'gazillion' different florals.

To get a little more interest into the quilt I spread butterflies/roses randomly over the surface. I know there will be a girl out there who will enjoy this quilt!

The quilt is backed with a red gingham, which almost makes it look like a picnic quilt. The green binding gives a splash of extra color to the quilt..

Finished size is 48" x 60".

This is my fourth charity quilt for the year, and number 48 all time for the children's ward at the hospital.

Project Quilting 11

Here are two of my entries for this years Project Quilting. First is 11.3 'Put A Heart on it'.

I made a 7" mini log cabin heart, pattern by @neverlandstitches. My mini is hand quilted.

The second is 11.4 'Birds In The Air'.

I made a 5" mini with batiks and tulle, quilted with straight lines. Finished off with a single fold binding.

My first Pine Falls Quilt

This Pine Falls quilt is a simple construction, big HSTs put together in a smart way. Inspired by a pattern from The Blanket Statement.

I used whatever stash I had available and constructed a baby quilt of 46" square. A small border was added for extra width. Quilted with my walking foot.

This is my third charity quilt for the year, and number 47 all time for the children's ward at the hospital.
