WaffleCone Quilt

Outdoor pictures of quilts are always the best, natural light shows off the colors in a perfect manner. The mystical forest is one of my favorite places.

My #WaffleConeQuilt is displayed by my favorite quilt holder in the forest; the uprooted tree, aka the Troll!

It is amazing that this tree is still alive, the roots have hardly any soil around them.

The quilting was done with the walking foot, evenly spaced straight lines.

The WaffleCone quilt is a free pattern from SuzyQuilts. My version turned out to be 50" x 62" after quilting.

This modern quilt with its bright colors and design would be great for one of the older kids in the children's ward at the hospital, the hospital is always in need of quilts for boys.

The back was pieced from three different fabrics.

This is my eleventh charity quilt for the year, and number 55 all time for the children's ward at the hospital.
