Thanks to Carla of Creatin' in the Sticks for organizing this great blog hop. Welcome to my stop today!
I chose to make an open wide zippered from a tutorial by Noodlehead. First I gathered all my black and white fabrics from my stash and scraps. I made a little Churn Dash block to put in the center on the front, even smaller than in my previous blog post . The rest of the panels were made in an improvisational style.
I quilted the panels with the walking foot using white thread.
Since we received loads of snow lately, I took the pouch outside for a photo shoot. Of course I added a black zipper to the pouch
The backside has lots of white polka dots. The striped "ribbon" goes all around the pouch.
A few years back I made a couple of other black and white projects, first this cute clutch. This one has accompanied me several times to dress-up parties.
These cute owl pot holders are just darling. The greatest birds for keeping my hands from burning when handling hot cookware and bakeware.
