Simply Helixed Table Runner

This turned out to be a perfect Stained Glass Window photo shoot of the Simply Helixed Table Runner designed by Alyce from Blossom Heart Quilts. The binding was not completely stitched on to the back, but the sun was low and shone in the correct angle so I got my husband to
hold it up. Only later I discovered that the reflection in the window showed the front/top of the runner.

This is how it looks all finished. I used is the Good Neighbors fabric by Amanda Jean Nyberg (Crazy Mom Quilts) with a white background. I quilted only the background with small stippling, which leaves the design to stand out. I used a print from my stash for the binding.

The table runner pattern is a free pattern from Blossom Heart Quilts.

A detailed picture of the quilting from the back in the low sun light.

Keep on quilting!
