Giveaway Day!



 

It is time for the most wonderful time of the year - Giveaway Day is here! Thanks to Sew Mama Sew for hosting this bi-annual event.

Thanks for visiting me, and feel free to browse my blog while you are here. Here are couple of my latest finishes:

Now for the giveaway:

The giveaway is now closed. 

The winner is #2, Andrea York.

Today I am giving away a stack of four fat quarters from my personal stash.




The stack consists of one flower print and three coordinating solids in orange, yellow and green, all are quilting cottons.

As you can see in the top picture, spring has just started to show off its beauty in my garden.

    My favorite flower is the Cleome...it comes in purple, pink or white and blooms non-stop all summer with little or no care. this fabric reminds me of them with the bright colors!

    Such a difficult question - I mean there are so many beautiful ones ... hmm I think there are two that I would pick if you absolutely make me - white echinaceas with a lime center cone or then the purple ones with the shimmery orange/brown centre and those really really dark orangy shades of heleniums (sorry I don't know the English names so I went with Latin)

    It's a difficult question, equal to asking what favorite fabric is. I love flowers, they bring everything alive around them. If I had to choose a favorite it would be zinnias.

    My favorite flower is a Monotropa uniflora. They grow wild in the area where I live and they are very rare. Everytime you see one it is something special. They are also sometimes called Indian pipe, or ghost flower
