My latest stash buster is this Twin Size 'Plus and X' quilt. I used a tutorial from StashBandit for the 10.5" unfinished blocks. All fabrics used are from my stash and scraps.
I wanted to get pictures in natural light, but the on the day in question it was drizzling all day. In order to get the pictures I just had to jump in and do it. Fortunately I was planning to put the quilt to wash following the photo session, anyway, because it got really wet afterwards.
Before the wash and dry cycle the quilt size was 70" x 90". Following the cycle the quilt had shrunk a little and had that nice crinckled look. Now it is ready to be gifted to the student who is going to use it in his dorm room.
This is probably the fastest quilt I have made of this size with only one month from start to finish. I quilted it with the walking foot.
Keep on quilting!
