Just a few pictures in natural light during the weekend of my Scrappy Summer 2015 quilt. This photo is taken around noon after the first snowfall of the season.
Here you can see the backing clearly .
The pictures were taken yesterday, and it has been snowing all day today. I wonder how much snow there will be tomorrow morning when I have to go to work again?!
This quilt will be donated, and is my 10th charity quilt to the children's ward at my local hospital.
I really like this one! Well done, and nice photos!
ReplyDeletelots of squares in this looks lovely and the backing is very nice too, hope you do not get too much snow, we had some overnight friday but it soon went and hopefully will stay away

ReplyDeleteWow!!! Congrats with the finish. The quilt and the pictures are beautiful!!!!! Love the back fabric,
ReplyDeleteGetting good outdoor pictures this time of year in Germany is like waiting for the sun, moon, and stars to align all at the same time! Just this last week, while sitting in my office, all of a sudden the sun came out. I started racing around like a mad woman to get things set up for a photo shot... and wouldn't you believe it that just as I had taken my last snap, it started to drizzle and the sun went away. (we're literally talking about a 30 minute window of time here!?!)
ReplyDeleteThis is a really lovely quilt finish and the back is just adorable. I just finished quilt number three, but I really like the idea of charity quilts... it gives so much more meaning to what you do.
Greetings from Germany!
What a gorgeous finish! I love the scrappy and colourful feel of this quilt. And the backing is super cheery too. Your quilt will be greatly appreciated, Anita. It's beautiful!
