The sun came through the clouds a short while.
This is a really scrappy quilt, made of recycled shirts, scraps and stash. Even the backing was a piece of duvet cover that was exactly the right size!
The finshed quilt is approximately 52" x 66" after a wash and dry cycle.
The quilting is done in a big meander style, which gives the quilt a soft and cozy feeling. The binding is all scrappy, made of the Buzz Saw fabrics.
This quilt will be donated to the children's ward at my local hospital, and this is the 9th quilt I have made for them. It is always a good feeling to know that the quilts I make will give comfort to a child who needs it.
The quilt is also the third finish from my 2015 Q3 Finish Along list . Just a week left of the quarter, and I have completed 3 out of 4 projects, not bad even for me!
I love the quilt and I love that you have made it for the comfort of a child. Very commendable.
