  1. a lovely selection of fabrics. Christmas dinner this year will be on Christmas Eve as Helen younger daughter is working on 25th, she is a nurse in the local hospice. We will have turkey with trimmings and maybe Xmas pudding to follow but usually we are too full, still have last year`s in the cupboard. Oh yes they like homemade leek and potato soup to start with

When my grandmother became unable to cook (she is almost 94) Chritmas dinner, instead of us recreating her recipes, we started a new tradition of having Chinese food so she wouldn't feel guilty about not being able to have the big meal she's made for over 70 years. 176. Every year we order an assortment of smoked game meats from Cabella's. My family members are not hunters, but they love the once a year chance to eat buffalo, elk, venison and wild boar. I can concentrate on vegetable dishes and a beautiful strawberry trifle for dessert.

  180. I haven't really decided about dinner yet, but I do know what we're having for dessert (my priorities are in order)--a Buche de noel. I haven't made one for a few years, so it's time to do it again.
